The Tunas Gold property is situated 22km West of the city of
Uruaçu, State of Goiás, some 200 km NW from Brasília /DF. Access by federal paved
highways and by air.
Geology Summary:
The property is located within Crixas-Guarinos-Pilar de
Goiás-Goiás Velho gold bearing greenstone belt with possible volcanogenic contributions.
Quartz-sericite-pirite schist with garnet, Chlorite-quartz-carbonate-pirrotite schist
frequently with garnet and magnetite probably products of hydrotermal alteration of mafic
rocks show micro folding indicating shear zone ductile deformations.

Gold occurrences: Several gold showings are reported within
the property. The most important being occurrences located on the Tunas farm where gold
was mined in the ancient times as well as recently by garimpeiros. Gold grades reported
and based on production are estimated between 25-30/tone. One rock sample of
quartz-sericite pirite-garnet schist collected from a flooded garimpeiro pit assayed
8.Og/tone gold. Exploration work: The region was flown by the aeromagnetic survey under
Brazil/Canada and Brazil/Germany agreement. The survey data were re interpreted in 1984 by
Anaconda Minerals Company. Location, extent and trend of possible greenstone lithologies
were Interpreted and correlated with regional geological maps The Tunas area, located 10
km to NE from the point 14 30 S/49 00 W (anomaly "F") is recognized as a fairly
strong anomalous area, more or less isolated, probably a metavolcanic and quite possibly a
greenstone belt, possibly folded, not as strong as the Crixas area ( five million oz. gold
mine) but not dissimilar. The above and an existence of the artisanal gold mining within
the above mentioned anomalous zone lead the CO to stack the area. After the exploration
permits were granted and/or priority established the CO drilled three 40m deep drill holes
along the garimpeiro’s gold digging trench. Drilling indicated sheer zone within
greenstone environment. However no gold values were obtained.
